Please remember to dress your child in warm clothes. We highly recommend a hat and gloves along with a jacket. Helmets are allowed/encouraged. As a parent you are responsible for helping your child get dressed and get their skates on and tied it’s not up to the coaches to do that.
The skaters will also need skate guards to walk to the ice. They can be purchased on Amazon or at Scheels.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE PRACTICE!
We are also asking you get your child to practice and ready on time since we only have a short time on the ice! With that being said your skater should be to the rink, should have went to the bathroom, dressed warm and have their skates on at least 5 minutes before practice.
There will be many updates throughout the season so please make sure to check the Facebook page, SportsEngine, your email (Please double check the email address you have provided as this is the email used for SportsEngine as well), we will also have information posted on the bulletin board downstairs by the skate rental area.
We are looking forward to a great season!
Join us on October 27th, 2-5PM, on the Community Rink. We will have Halloween games for all ages on and off the ice! Cost is $15 per person, including ice skate rental and open ice time. All funds go towards our clubs annual ice show!

What is Learn to Skate?
Learn to Skate provides the basic fundamentals for figure skating. There is room to grow from Levels 1-Bridging. Bridging being the level before Advanced. To excel to your next level, you must pass your USFSA Level Test by Zane Frick or Isabell Boekelman. This is coordinated though the Test Chair.
What is Advanced?
Advanced is our "elite" team. They strive through the year to compete at competitions, test moves and dances, as well as skate at our annual Ice Show. Figure Skating is more than our Ice Show. Once you get to Advanced, your practice relies solely on your dedication to the sport. Moves in the Field and Dances are goals we want our skaters to achieve to progress in their career.
