Please remember to dress your child in warm clothes, it does get cold out on the ice. We highly recommend a hat and gloves along with a jacket and maybe even snow pants for the younger kids if you want. Also if you would like your child to wear a helmet you will have to bring that as well. As a parent you are responsible for helping your child get dressed and get their skates on and tied it’s not up to the coaches to do that.
The skaters will also need skate guards to walk to the ice. They can be purchased on Amazon or at Scheels if you plan on going out of town before the season starts.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE PRACTICE! It can be a huge distraction for the group if a child needs to go and our coach can’t leave the other skaters to take your child.
We are also asking you get your child to practice and ready on time since we only have a short time on the ice! With that being said your skater should be to the rink, should have went to the bathroom, dressed warm and have their skates on at least 5 minutes before practice.
There will be many updates throughout the season so please make sure to check the Facebook page, TeamSnap, your email (Please double check the email address you have provided as this is the email used for TeamSnap as well), we will also have information posted on the bulletin board downstairs by the skate rental area.
We are looking forward to a great season!
Thanks!
